Code of Conduct

From social distancing behaviors to handwashing, all participants must engage in proper healthy behaviors.  (Visit CDC guidance for healthy behaviors.)

All registered participants of Children & Family programs age 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult (18+).

Non-registered family members and guests accompanying participants are welcome to enjoy the host park's amenities and to adhere to park rules.  Visit: Bergen County's Park and Recreation. Visit: Passaic County's Park and Recreation.

Participants and accompanying parents or guests will respect the nature around them and shall not abuse, mutilate, injure, destroy, move or remove any plant or animal or natural resource from the host park or from SOAR property.

SOAR operates on a carry-in, carry-out model regarding personal litter.  For host parks with available options, every person shall place litter in the proper refuse or recycle containers provided.

Participants and accompanying parents or guests respect SOAR staff and the parameters set for guest safety and decisions made to ensure appropriate conduct.  A participant or guest unable to comply with staff requests to uphold these parameters will be removed from the session.  No refunds will be issued resultant of this type of removal.
